Aluminum Flashlight Battery Plug
For a customer in the consumer electronics industry, CGR Technologies Inc. has designed and manufactured a flashlight battery plug, using 6061-T6 aluminum. This battery plug measures 0.400" long and a diameter of .625". The uncoated product was manufactured in a volume of 3000 pieces, within a 3 week lead time.
In the production of the flashlight battery plug, CGR Technologies Inc.; used our Swiss CNC turning machine with a sliding headstock. This machine allows us great versatility in machining complex parts with several features. We carried out both inside diameter and outside diameter turning, with threading inside and out. In addition, boring and back-boring processes were applied to achieve the proper shape and form of the finished product, maintaining a tolerance of +/- 0.001" in all dimensions and aspects.
